Dr. Wei graduated from Tongji Medical University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Medicine in Clinical Medicine. His academic and professional appointments include:

He has published more than 10 national-level academic papers. With over 30 years of clinical practice in orthopedics, he has accumulated extensive clinical expertise. He is competent to independently perform the full spectrum of standard and advanced technical procedures across spine, joint and traumatology specialties, and boasts strong capabilities in managing complex and severe orthopedic conditions.
Dr. Wei has independently carried out anterior and posterior upper cervical spine surgery, minimally invasive spine surgery, primary and revision total hip and knee arthroplasty, and arthroscopic surgery, which have delivered favorable social and economic outcomes. In recent years, his clinical work has focused on minimally invasive surgical treatment for spinal degenerative diseases, as well as standardized fast-track rehabilitation protocols for hip and knee arthroplasty, with remarkable clinical results.
